Teacher from the Katherine Region had a ball on the weekend, when they gathered at the Sport and Rec Club for the annual Chalkies Ball.
Around 130 teachers and school staff from schools across the region, including Katherine High School, Jilkminggan School, Casuarina Street Primary School, Katherine School of the Air, Katherine South Primary and MacFarlane gathered for a fun-filled night that saw most get right behind this year’s motto of the ball, which was ‘Heaven and Hell’, which inspired almost all guest to dress up in fantastic costumes such as popes and priests, devils and angels and the grim reaper.
