There was a huge turnout of players, parents and supporters for final day of the Junior soccer season.
While the under 7s, 9s and 12s all wrapped up very successful years, the day finished with the much anticipated Under 18s semi-final between Subway and All Seasons.
It was a sudden death match with the winner going on to challenge Surelines. As expected the match was very tight with great defence from both sides.
The deadlock was broken just before half-time with a great run from Brodie Carroll that put Subway up 1-0.
The second half saw attack from All Seasons with Subway holding tight.
Finally a combination of Alfred Zaranyika and Harrison Dawes saw a levelling goal for All Seasons.
At the end of normal time the score was locked at 1-all.
Extra time saw a quick goal from a looping shot from Tom Jackson to put Subway one up.
The score was levelled once again after a goal to Alfred Zaranyika for All Seasons. The match was all tied up after extra time and bound for a penalty shootout. All Seasons finally got in front with a 4-2 penalty shootout victory.

All Seasons move on to play Surelines in the final. At this stage the final will be in the last week of August. The Under 7s finished their season with four great matches.
Fire Flames 4 defeated Green Machine 0, Bumble Bees 6 defeated Tigers 2, Choppers 4 defeated Blue Arrows 0 and Jets 9 defeated Supstar Brumbys 3.
This group has been great fun all season and many thanks to all players, parents and coaches and sponsors.
Under 9s finished on a high with all teams at full strength. Civic finished with a win over Brumbys 6-1.
The second match saw Topend finish the season on a high with a 5-3 win over Nighthawk.
Thanks to all players, coaches, sponsors and parents for a great season. The Under 12s provided a wonderful finals day, unfortunately there can only be one championship team.
The 3rd-4th place final was taken out by Dragons 3-1 over Flames. The final provided a shock with Venom getting up against Edge 2-1.
A great match and a credit to all players and coaches.

A great day, the only sour note was the theft of the Under 12 Brumby GO jerseys.
