04 Feb 12 | THE luck of the draw deserted Queanbeyan women’s bowls this week after all three of the club’s sides competing in the ACT Fours tournament were placed in the same half of the competition.
04 Feb 12 | KIWIS Dave Paul and Sean Robertson are this year’s pairs champions after defeating last year’s winners Andy Kaden and Jason Johnson in last weekend’s final.
03 Feb 12 | Ladies social bowls got back into the swing again on Tuesday after some weeks’ recess. Practice for our pennant teams is dominant at present with the first match to be February 27.

03 Feb 12 | Cowra Women’s Outdoor Bowling Club - Thursday Jan 26 Australia Day - the weather was we and, at times, miserable but it did not deter players arriving from Young, Grenfell, Blayney, Canowindra and Gooloogong to partake in the Mixed Pairs social games organised by the Cowra Men’s Bowling Club.

02 Feb 12 | ON Australia Day last Thursday the club conducted a mixed triples afternoon and there was a very good attendance 34 bowlers. It was the first time that bowlers have had a chance of having a game since the green was renovated and it has come back in great order. It was a job well done by our greenkeeper Neil James.

Rollers raise cash
02 Feb 12 | JUNEE Bowling Club’s greens were busy over the weekend with almost 200 people taking to the field in aid of Junee Can Assist. At 6pm last Friday, the first of 180 bowlers rolled a bowl down the greens and for the next 24 hours, there was always at least four games being played.
02 Feb 12 | Efforts by the Nambucca Heads Bowling and Recreation Club to tackle the difficult issue of alcohol management in community sport, have resulted in the club winning a Level 1 accreditation under the Australian Drug Foundation’s Good Sports program.
