Week 6
Well, I’m now into week six of my challenge. Only 46 more to go.
The “no junk” part of this challenge is going well.
Many people are asking me what I consider ‘junk’ to be.
Well, this isn’t a no sugar, no fat diet. Avocado, milk, bread, cereal, cheese and fruit have certain amounts of natural fat and/or sugar in them.
I am allowed to eat these sorts of food.
I stay away from the more processed fats and sugars such as chocolate, chips, cake, fatty processed meat (although I still eat ham), biscuits, soft drinks, etc.
I don’t allow myself to eat what most people would consider to be ‘treats’.
All food I eat is screened and approved by my nutritionist, Natalie Buffa, who can be contacted at zestnutrition@live.com.au,
The total amount of money fundraised is now $2436.
A big thankyou to the Golf Club for your on-going support, to all those who helped organise the Barefoot Lawn Bowls, and to those who attended.
And thank you to Casuarina Street Primary School for allowing us to raise money at their Carboot sale on Sunday.
Westpac will be holding a Sausage Sizzle on Friday, June 14, to raise money for my challenge.
Please head over there between 11.30am and 2.30pm.
