Week 9
Even though the desire to eat junk is still there, the ‘‘no junk food’’ is quite manageable.
Herbal tea and fruit are my main saviours. According to my nutritionist, Natalie Buffa, a touch of maple syrup is okay too, in small portions (please refer to my website for her write up about this 365daynojunk.com).
I believe that honey in small quantities is acceptable as well, because it is natural.
Due to all this healthy eating, I am feeling fabulous and well. I would recommend this challenge to anyone struggling with health issues.
It is one great way to get your eating habits back on track. Raising money for a good cause is very fulfilling.
This week I would like to say a big thank you to the Katherine Rotary Club members.
They had me as a guest at one of their meetings and informed me that they would like to support and help raise money for my challenge.
We had a long chat about possibilities for fundraising.
Some of the ideas we discussed are very exciting and will soon be announced.
Thank you guys for being so supportive.
How’s this for one day’s yummy menu: Vita Brits, banana and milk; sundried tomato and olive scroll; two mandarins and banana; small piece of cheese; small salad and too much lasagne; small salad and very small piece of steak.
