AUSTRALIA’S FIRST NATIONS POLITICAL
PARTY (AFNPP)
Age: 45
Hometown: Alice Springs
What will you do for Katherine, and the region if elected?
Katherine is a very unique town with lots of water and opportunity for all people regardless of what their background.
To stimulate this notion that we have dual heritage and dual responsibility towards each other in shaping the future.
First we have to come together as people imaging who we are collectively and we can achieve the unbelievable.
I will represent all people of the Northern Territory equally, advocate this unity that we can truly have.
The need for relationship building with economic shared backing, goes a long way in designing, the community we want to live in.
What are your key policies?
Honesty and the truth about bad legislations impacts on people’s lives.
Deep respect for country and the environment, we reject projects that cause lasting and irreversible damage.
Inclusiveness – we believe that we are all on this journey we can move forward together.
Our policies are social engendering, with economic being the vehicle to make it possible in joint business ventures.
How do you plan to create opportunities for economic development in Katherine and the region?
We support joint venture opportunity for Katherine and its region, we also support the cattle industry.
We support processing the cattle in the Northern Territory to create more employment opportunity for all.
Instead of live export, develop multi species beast abattoirs and meat packing in surround regions.
What is your stance on the live cattle export industry?
Get the religious groups that are buying our cattle or meat, to come and conduct the ceremonial ritual, by conducting the “zabihah” guidelines to slaughter the animal to make it “Halal” meat.
We then process the meat here with their blessing to then package and send to countries that practise religious slaughtering of cattle.
This opens up better ways of doing business for all.
