Police concerned for missing Palmerston man

NORTHERN TERRITORY police are seeking public assistance to help find a missing Palmerston man who hasn’t been seen by family or friends for four days.

Acting Sergeant Warren Scott said 24-year-old Michael Hammond left his home in Gray on Friday evening and has not been seen or heard from since.

“Police are extremely concerned for Michael’s welfare,” A/Sergeant Scott said.

Police said Mr Hammond left his home on Friday in a green VT Holden Commodore with South Australian registration XPO 567 and neither his family or friends have heard from him since.

“Michael is around 175 centimetres tall, weighs 90 kilograms and has a solid build. He has a tan complexion and has an old surgery wound measuring 2cm by 4cm on his right forearm.

“Police are extremely concerned for his welfare,” A/Sergeant Scott reiterated.

Police are asking anyone who may have any information about Mr Hammond’s whereabouts, or anyone who may have seen the man or his vehicle, to please contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
