WOW, what a great morning and a fitting end to the season for Junior football.
Fun and excitement was over flowing, and it was great to see so many happy faces.
Sad however as the season is over for this year.
The Under 7’s have really excelled this season with great play and enthusiasm.
A very large thankyou to all players, parents and coaches for making this year so much fun.
I would also like to thank our wonderful sponsors in this age group.
Next year will see some new sponsors joining the family, so keep an eye out for some striking new uniforms.
The Under 9’s have also grown this year and its always great to see young players start to put together the skills and teamwork that makes football so enjoyable.
A credit to all players and coaches, and we look forward to seeing there development in future years.

As expected, the Under 12’s showed us what football is all about.
Never give up and keep playing till the end.
The final between Butchers and Lightning for third and fourth place was a hard fought game.
Lightning held on for a 2-1 win over Butchers. Lightning goal scorers were Leonie McCombes and Kaleb Vanstone.
Declan Powell scored Butchers goal.
The Grand Final saw Gladiators challenge Edge for the championship.
At fulltime, the scores were locked at 1-1.
An own goal by Edge, giving Gladiators one and Charlie Alexander scored Edges goal.
Extra time could not break the deadlock, with Gladiators taking the Championship on points scored during the season.
A great match and great efforts by both teams.

Under 18’s took a back seat this week, but quietly continued with 3 wonderful games.
Surelines 2-1 win over Subway. Adam Bawi and Isaac Bell scored surelines goals, while Samuel Laird-Barrington scored for Subway.
Second match saw All Seasons notch a win over Surelines 4-1.
Jess Budarick, Harrison Dawes and Alfred Zaranyika(2) scored for All Seasons.
Isaac Bell scored Surelines goal.
The final match saw All Seasons finish with a 5-1 win over Subway. Harrison Dawes(4) and Jess Budarick scored All Seasons goals.
Matthew Jackson scored Subways goal.
The Under 18’s continue, with games each Wednesday commencing at 5.30pm during the holidays.
Saturday 21 July will see games recommence, with finals during term three.
