POLICE are calling for public assistance as they hunt for a motorbike stolen from Katherine East at the weekend.

Between 10pm on November 1 and 10am on November 2, a 2014 KTM 540 EXC was stolen from a locked shed on Grevillea Road.
The unregistered motorcycle is orange and black, and valued at about $14,000.
It has a distinctive titanium exhaust, which is blue and was fitted with a number of other non-standard accessories.
The motorcycle is electric start, meaning no key is required, and had a full tank of fuel when it was stolen.
Two, 10-litre jerry cans with the number six spray painted on them were also stolen from the shed.
Anyone with information about the theft is urged to call police on 13 14 44 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
