On a day where the course claimed victory over the majority of players, Ken Orwell mastered the warm conditions to win the competition on a countback from the in-form Matt Woldseth, with both golfers carding 41 points.
On Easter Sunday, the Katherine Golf Club will stage the first Stableford Points Chase for the 2015-16 season.

A small field of steely Katherine Veterans Golf Club members turned out for a nine-hole Stableford competition on March 29.
The Toads were at home in the damp and humid conditions, with Steve Marcus dulling the aspirations of the field to win from Taddie “Perko” Perkins.
Bruce Johnston claimed the hard luck story of the round, collecting more plants than an over-enthusiastic botanist.
The veterans will tee off for another nine holes on April 4 at 10am.
Visitors and “under-aged” golfers are most welcome.
