The competition was the June monthly medal, which was played under top golfing conditions.
Robert Perkins was the best of the A-grader golfers with a score of 69 net.
Club captain Bruce Johnston was the best of the rest flying theA-grade flag with a 75 net.
It was much closer in B-grade, with Jason Vincent just pipping Simon Smith by one stroke to claim bragging rights with a 67 net.

In the Ladies division, Gill Hylton won the medal on a countback from Di Kenafake with a respectable 75 net.
This weekend, the Katherine Country Club will be inundated with visiting golfers keen to tout their stuff in the 2015 Katherine Open.
As of June 7, more than 70 golfers had nominated for the event, with a total field cut-off numbering 100.
Nominations closed on June 10 at 4pm.
Played over two days, the KGC committee is anticipating that the 2015 event will be the best open for a number of years, with many sponsors hopping on board and a course that the club captain will set as most fair and challenging.
Due to the predicted size of the field, the course will be marshalled for slow play.
Last weekend, Rabbit won everything that he entered, causing many within the Katherine Veterans Golf Club ranks to ask how you swabbed a small mammal for performance-enhancing substances.
On June 6, KVGC presented nine challenging holes for its senior golfing combatants to squabble over.
Still excited with his recent run of form, Rabbit conquered all before him and won the nine holes outright, in addition to being a member of the victorious “All Rs” line-up, which included Richo and Rixy.
Rabbit’s thirst for victory remained undiminished on Sunday, when he again “hopped in” to claim victory in the Tony Adams Auld Mug for June, in addition to his KGC C-grade medal win.
After a quick check with the obliging staff at Guinness World Records, it was determined that his outstanding performance was now a world record for Katherine veterans.
