With a vehicle up for grabs for the player who recorded a hole in one on the specified hole, there was plenty of dreaming, however, the prize remained unclaimed for a second year.
Hogan’s Heroes won the annual event, with the Golfer Aarrghsss making the most of the Pirates of the Caribbean theme to secure runner-up honours.
Innovative Office Furniture was crowned the best-dressed team on the course.
Katherine executive officer Sue Jones said it had been tremendous to see so many teams dress up.
“It was great to see, considering the heat it,” she said.
“I would like to take this opportunity thank all the sponsors for participating in this year’s golf day.
“Without your generosity, these events would not be able to take place.
Ms Jones also thanked “pirate girls” Jen and Gemma, and drinks ute driver Peta Higgins.
