About 400 spectators gathered to watch teams from under 6 through to under 14 play their grand final matches.
A blunder with the Town Oval sprinkler system meant the playing surface was wet underfoot and kept the scores low in some matches.
Grand final day kicked-off with the under 6 Cowboys and Raiders slugging it out to finish with a thrilling 16-all draw.
Flynn Thornley, Darcy McWhirter, Angus Jennings, Knox Higgins, Charlise Fitzgerald and Max Whitehouse all scored tries while Nate Duggan scored two.
Next was the under 8s three team round-robin competition where the Cowboys won both their matches 12-4 against the Raiders and Bushrangers. The Raiders beat the Bushrangers 8-nil.
The Raiders were the dominant team in the under 10’s three team round-robin competition beating Bushrangers 16-10 and Cowboys 16-14. Bushrangers won comfortably against the Cowboys 16-4.
In the under 12’s grand final Bushrangers thrashed the Raiders 38-4 in one of the highest scoring games of the day.
A close but high scoring affair in the under 14’s saw the Raiders beat Bushrangers 30-26, a total of 10 tries were scored across the match which wrapped up grand final day.
