Babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers danced the morning away in the Katherine Library with help from an enthusiastic deputy mayor and author Toni Tapp Coutts.
Ald. Coutts read the children a story and then led the dancing with Boof.
The message for the children was to take care of themselves and siblings around water.
The NT Water Safety Advisory Council thanked the town’s Austswim instructors for the work they do with a lunch at the Katherine Aquatic Centre.
