Eight-eyed Wolfies shine in torchlight

Wolf Spiders, or Lycosa species, are fierce nocturnal hunters that live among leaf litter or in burrows. All Wolfies are well camouflaged in patterns of grey, black, yellowish brown and white and between one and eight centimetres in size.
