The Bureau of Meteorology recorded only 1.8mm at Tindal for the past 24 hours although Katherine gauges tipped out about 10mm this morning.

The forecast is for possible showers and thunderstorms but not in the amounts which would cause further dramatic rises in the river.
Minor flood warnings remain on Katherine River Gorge Road and Waterhouse and Roper rivers.
