About 100 people have come to voice opinions on hydraulic fracturing in the region.
The panel has already held two meetings in Katherine and is travelling across the NT gathering submissions and evidence to compile a report listing recommendations for the future of hydraulic fracturing of shale gas in the NT.
The panel is expected to present its report to the government in December this year.
