The Pop Rocket has also been doing good trade both Saturday and Sunday.
More than 15 people were enjoying the top and bottom pools at the springs when the Katherine Times visited this morning.
The footbridge, part of the multi-million dollar upgrade of the site is still out of action after the high river came through the area in the wet season, but the track is open.
The protective construction fence gates were opened to allow visitors and locals to visit one of the town’s most popular free attractions after the wet season.
Some work has already been done to clean up the site after the wet season although there is still some finishing touches, rubbish collection and cleaning, still to do.
Backpackers, families and seniors were all enjoying the springs this morning.
Visitors who have piled into Katherine since Easter were disappointed to find the springs closed.
