This has to be the fastest Phillips head screw in the world, well Australia at least.
It belts through the air at almost 1900km/h.
And it was pictured holding together a F/A 18 Hornet fighter at the Tindal RAAF Base today, it appeared to be holding the nose on.
The Katherine Times was invited onto the base today to see what all the fuss is about, and the reason why there are some many military aircraft criss-crossing the sky during the day and especially at night.
More on that story soon, with a very noisy video after we were given exclusive access to the Tindal runway and a departing flight of jets.
