Arnhem Crows had the double header with the first game up against Rockers.
Both teams started out strong with Rockers bringing in three runs and Arnhem Crows bringing in two.
In the second inning, Rockers brought in a further three runs off the bat of Haylee Ross with Arnhem also securing three runs with safe hitting.
In the third inning Arnhem Crows catcher Sherrie Ladd and pitcher Veronica Moreen worked hard to limit Rockers to one run.
Arnhem leveled the field, also securing one run.
In the fourth and final inning Rockers were in front by one run and managed to score one extra run by Libby Ross.
Arnhem Crows had the last say of the game and went into bat needing two runs to draw or three to win.
Arnhem scored one early run then with loaded Bases Moreen delivers a winning two base hit to left field bringing in three runs to win the game for Arnhem Crows.
Final scores Arnhem Crows 10 to Rockers 8.
Best on ground for Arnhem was pitcher Veronica Moreen and Vita Brinjen with a perfect 1000 batting average.
Rockers Libby and Haylee Ross were standout performers both in the field and on the bat.
In the second game of the day Arnhem Crows were at it again, this time against the Rebels.
Both teams were kept scoreless in the first innings but playing some solid softball.
In the second inning Rebels got on the score board bringing in four runs with a two base hit to Kaillee Brown.
Arnhem followed suit with four runs when they went into bat.
In the third inning Rebels were kept scoreless with Arnhem Crows third base player Vita Brinjen taking all three putout.
The Rebels fought back and kept Arnhem from scoring, taking both teams into the final inning at four runs.
Rebels last bat of the game saw them score three runs to edge in front with Arnhem Crows having the last bat of the game.
A safe hit to Helen Lee saw Arnhem score two runs, but Rebels held on tight to claim the win by one run with final scores Rebels 7 to Arnhem Crows 6.
Best on ground for Rebels was pitcher Mel Retchford with six strike outs for the game and catcher Kaillee Brown.
For Arnhem Crows Vita Brinjen was best on ground for both games and Tanya Tiati shone in the outfield keeping Rebels big batters at bay.
There will be no softball this weekend due to Katherine Show and will return on Saturday the July 29.
