The eight-year-old Mywordsaidthebird will have its name engraved on the Cup after chasing down some some early front runners to take the 1700 metre feature race today and scoop up the $20,100 first prize plus paying almost $6 for on course bets.
Mr Dyer also won the trainer’s prize for the best performance across the six races.
