Katherine’s St John Ambulance crews took part in the R U OK day today.

R U OK? Day is our national day of action, dedicated to reminding everyone that we’ve all got what it takes to ask, “are you ok?” and support those struggling with life .

Taking part can be as simple as learning R U OK?’s four steps so you can have a conversation that could change a life.

The day is about inspiring people to start these conversations every day of the year.

Today you will see our frontline Paramedics, Patient Transport officers, Trainers, Receptionists and Managers wearing yellow R U OK? T-shirts right across the Northern Territory and armed with conversation cards which show the “four steps to having a conversation” and also offering the Australian Crisis line numbers to call if you need “a bit of extra help”.
