After a series of public meetings, each better attended than the last, defence has now moved to rent the vacant shop in the Katherine shopping centre.
Shop Four, most recently occupied for the NT council pre-poll voting and opposite BWS, will be open from Tuesday, October 10 until Thursday, October 12 from 10.30am- 6pm.
“Representatives from Defence and other government agencies will be available at the shopfront to answer questions,” a defence spokesman said.
“No formal presentation will be delivered.”
Defence has contracted Coffey Consulting to continue the year-long investigation into the spread of PFAS chemicals from the Tindal RAAF Base.
