Donations to the Red Shield Appeal ensure The Salvation Army can continue to support hundreds of people experiencing crisis every day.
"Our services on the frontline are under increasing pressure, and donations to the Red Shield Appeal allow us to continue to meet the changing needs of the community," Kevin Wrigley, The Salvation Army's .Community & Fundraising Manager NT, said
"For many people hard times can simply be one pay away, with many families in our Northern Territory community doing it tough, and relying on The Salvation Army for support. We are seeing many new people who have not needed our support before," he said.
"Just a few dollars donated to one of our collectors can make a real difference for people experiencing hardship giving hope where it's needed the most," he said.
