We are a friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team seeking an enthusiastic professionally qualified Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Social Worker, Registered Nurse or other relevant health professional to become part of the Aged Care Unit in Alice Springs as an ACAT Assessor.
The ACAT assessor conducts comprehensive clinical assessments for remote and urban aged clients who have been referred to the Aged Care Assessment Team. The Aged Care Assessment Program (ACAP) is a Commonwealth funded program, which has delegated authority to approve client placements for Residential Aged Care, Respite Care, Home Care Packages, Transition Care and Short Term Restorative Care.
The ACAP is part of the Aged Care Unit, which incorporates the Aged Care Assessment Program, Memory Service, the Transition Care and Short Term Restorative Care Programs, Aboriginal Liaison and Psychogeriatric Service.
