The council has opened its traditional question and answer session before each council meeting to its online audience as well.
More than 1000 people watched the council’s question and answer session through the Katherine Times’ livestream last month.
It’s next meeting will be held this Wednesday from 5.30pm, rather than the traditional Tuesday because of the Anzac Day holiday.
You can put your question direct via an email or Facebook message to us and we will submit it to council to be answered during our Facebook livestream coverage.
So, you can ask your question, and hear the answer, without physically having to go the council meeting.
This unique access to council is only possible with the cooperation of the council, and Mayor Fay Miller in particular.
Pose your question of council, or its services, and direct it to chris.mclennan@fairfaxmedia.com.au or Facebook message us direct.
We will bundle up the questions and deliver them to council for consideration.
