However this did not stop the enthusiasm of players that turned up to play some great soccer.
Match scores were mostly even and tight.
This means that players are putting everything into their games.
It was great to see displays of fair play in all games.
Keep up the great effort! Again, a big thank you to players and parents for turning up and helping out.
Soccer matches will continue on Saturday mornings until the last game on 9 September.
Parents and players are asked to come to the fields from 8am this Saturday to assist with the set up of goals as well as warming up.
Play starts at 8.30am for most teams.
Under 10’s matches are as follows – 8:30: Top End Backhoes vs Cutting Edge; 9:30: Nighhawk vs Jones Meat Mart. U13’s matches are as follows – Game 1 starting @8:30 : Katherine Fruit & Veg vs MD Sports; Game 2: Katherine Fruit & Veg vs Ibis Styles; and Game 3 : MD Sports vs Ibis Styles.
