The second hand store, today opened the doors to their new store in Katherine’s main street. 

Red Cross store manager Roz Morley said they have moved right across the street to 15 Katherine Terrace. 

“I feel really good about the new shop and I hope all of our customers feel good about it too,” Ms Morley said. 

“I think we will definitely get more foot traffic on that side of the street, there are also no steps at the new store which will make it much easier for people with a disability and people with prams. 

“We are going to cater for every man, woman and child with toys, clothes and manchester,” she said. 

Ms Morley said the store will remain open throughout the holiday period except for Christmas and Boxing Day. 

“We are getting a lot of new stock in from Melbourne,” Ms Morley said. 

“There are a lot of nice Christmas presents to buy and Kris Kringle type things.”
