How dare they!
But am I the only one in this day and age who thinks photos of children with a fat random stranger dressed up in a weird red costume and fake beard is unusual and a bit weird?
How can you believe such ridiculous nonsense?
A being who keeps track of your good and bad deeds, and only rewards the good. What right does he have? He sees you when you’re sleeping and knows when you’re awake. What makes your life his business?
But am I still talking about Santa or some people’s view of God? I reckon a lot of us get the two a bit mixed up.
Or do they both fall in the category of nice but mythical stories to tell to our kids, until we all grow out of believing in fairy tales?
Obviously I’m convinced Jesus is nothing like Santa. And I get that some of you quite like Santa – but nobody gives their whole life over to helping people take Santa seriously. I’ve done that for Jesus though.
Am I a liar, mad, or right?
