Auxiliary Police Officers are sworn members who provide support for the Northern Territory Police in crucial roles in three main employment streams: Communications, Front Counter or Watch House.
Watch House Police Auxiliaries are responsible for the care of people in police custody.
Members in the Watch House are required to pass a physical fitness assessment as they will be required to undertake intensive operational safety and tactics training.
NTPES is now recruiting Watch House Auxiliaries for Darwin, Katherine and Alice Springs.
