In celebration of International Women’s Day, Katherine High School Year 7 STARS students organised a staff v students AFL match and lunch.
Also we have photos from the Under 15 AFL Girls Carnival held at Barunga last Tuesday.
There were teams from Barunga, Borroloola, Wugularr, Jilkminggan, and 2 from Katherine High School.
The girls played a round robin carnival with Katherine High Grey being the overall winners.
There were 70 players.
The outcome of the game at the school yesterday was one all and a great time was had by all. The match pulled a great crowd.
The STARS students were really proud of the event they had organised. They said it was a great and fun way to spend time and interact with the teachers and they can’t wait to do it again.
