It streamlines access to important youth-related information and gives young Territorians the ability to engage with Government services.
Territory Families is committed to developing, maintaining and strengthening ties with young Territorians by facilitating on-going support in all aspects of life.
“The aim of the site is to strengthen the relationship between youth and Government.
It is a platform for young people aged 12 to 25 years to develop effective links between themselves, Government and the wider community,” Territory Families CEO Ken Davies said.
Territory Families encourages all young Territorians to engage with the website, as it provides important information on issues facing youth such as housing, education, career, health and finances.
The website incorporates the NT Youth Round Table which is a direct communication avenue between young Territorians and the Northern Territory Government.
The website also showcases Northern Territory Youth Week (NTYW) which runs from 13-22 April 2018 with this year’s theme being, Be Tru, Be You! There are Youth Grants available for activities and programs during this time for young people aged 12 to 25 years; helping to bring youth ideas to life.
