The Senior 7-side mixed competition gets under way on Wednesday, May 2 from 6-9pm.
This is a social competition for men and women 16 and over.
Teams of 10 with a healthy dose of fun are needed.
Registration for this competition starts this week Monday and Thursday from 5.30-6.30 pm at Town Oval number one. Cost is $100 for one season or $120 for two seasons.
The Junior competition starts this Saturday, April 28 from 8am at the Town Ovals.
This is a mixed competition for kids and youth from ages 5-18.
Although registrations have got under way over the past couple of weeks, there is still time to register this Saturday. Cost is $100.
There will be lots of activities starting with warm ups run by NT Institute of Sport.
Teams in respective age divisions will be formed and there will be opportunities to have friendly games.
Football Federation NT (FFNT) will be running a grassroots coaching education session after 9am to assist in the development of what hopes to be a great season of soccer for 2018.
The junior competition will then start first matches from Saturday, May 12.
All registered players must wear shin pads.
These will be on sale together with club football socks on Saturday morning. Black shorts are essential.
For those that are interested in taking their playing skills to another level, FFNT is running a Referee Course (Level 4) on Sunday, April 29 from 9-4 here in Katherine.
The club will be covering costs of this course and we will need numbers by the end of this week.
