Subway looks to re-open in Katherine

Subway unexpectedly closed in January but the company promised it would “stay put”.

Subway is now advertising the franchise for the Katherine store.

The shops is only temporarily closed in Katherine, a company spokesman said when news of the Katherine Terrace closure happened.

"It will re-open soon under new management," a Subway spokesman told us earlier in the year.

The spokesman said he was not able to give "a definite date" for the re-opening but said "it would be soon".

Steps to apply for the franchise are outlined in an advertisement in the Katherine Times this week.
