Breaking news – Parliament evacuated
Parliament House in Darwin is currently being evacuated due to a HAZMAT incident.
Initial information indicates there was a strong smell of chlorine coming from an unknown location.
People in the building were evacuated as a precautionary measure. There are no reported injuries, however some people have experienced eye discomfort.
WorkSafe NT has been notified.
There are no further details available at this stage.
