At 2.45am this morning, about 10km outside of Halls Creek, The Sydney Hotshots swerved a kangaroo on the road, rolling the bus three times and writing the vehicle off.
The accident comes just weeks after the male performers, on tour with a new show, hit an emu near Perth, damaging yet another bus, which had to be left behind.
Tour promoter Paul Reynolds said the accident last night left the vehicle undriveable.
“This is the second bus that has been damaged in just three weeks,” Mr Reynolds said.
“After the first crash with the emu we decided it was too dangerous to drive at night, but the boys were desperately trying to get to Katherine for the show,” he said.
Police and ambulance were called to the scene, early this morning, and took the Sydney Hotshots to a hotel, Mr Reynolds said.
“We are now trying to buy a van or a bus to carry all of the equipment so the show in Darwin on Thursday can go ahead,” Mr Reynolds said.
“The boys are okay, luckily.
“One of the guys got a couple of scratches, but that is it,” he said.
The Kangaroo is also fine, Mr Reynolds said.
The Sydney Hotshots are in need of a new van or bus to get them to Darwin before Thursday.
