Defence intends to update Katherine on their ongoing investigation into PFAS contamination.
This is also an opportunity for residents to ask questions.
Australia’s Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Hobbs has also indicated he will attend the event.
The Community Walk-in Session is at 5pm today at Knotts Crossing Resort, Katherine.

The Department of Defence is also holding a Community Shopfront in the Woolworths Complex for residents to find out more about the environmental investigations.
The shopfront will be open on Tuesday, June 19 and Wednesday, June 20 between 10.30am to 6pm.
