Nominations for the Territory Cup Katherine Show Campdraft opens next week.
The popular campdrafting event will run from Thursday July 19 to Saturday July 21 with finals taking place on Saturday from 9am.
Nominations for the campdraft open on July 4 at 7pm through Campdraft Central.
Judgeing the competition this year is Paul Ireland, an ACA accredited Queensland campdrafter.
“The Territory Cup was successful about 20 years ago, and we are trying to bring some of that history back into the NT campdrafting circuit.” organiser Kylie Leonhardt said.
The campdraft winner will recieve the Territory Cup and $900 prize money.
Competitors of the Consolidated Pastoral Company sponsored event must be an ACA financial member to participate in the ACA affiliated event, Mrs Leonhardt said.

The Katherine Show’s Equestrian Classes are also expected to draw large numbers.
There will be more show jumping this year, set out to encourage riders from Darwin to stay for the full week.
The equestrian events run from Tuesday, July 17 to Saturday, July 21.
