Miss Al, the imported Yellow Crowned Amazon from South America, went missing several weeks ago and was causing sleepless nights for the Holm family.
Katherine business manager Kim Holm said the bird went missing from their home in the Ivanoff/Florina road area.
“She has been part of the family for two years, we search for her every night.”
“Parks & Wildlife have done an amazing investigation and bought Miss Al home today. Thanks to the bush telegraph our gorgeous girl is home and safe,” Ms Holm said last night.
Ms Holm said Miss Al went outside for a regular slice of sunshine on Monday night and had not returned.
