The club is hosting the NT Formula 500 Titles.
A field comprising of 20 cars F500’s from all over Australia will be attending with at least 10 of the top 20 drivers in Australia competing.
Practice is on Friday, with racing on both Saturday and Sunday.
The Territory will be fielding hard chargers NT14 Scott Leonhardt, NT7 Hyden Brown, NT21 Ellie Hills, NT56 Cameron Jaenke and NT 11 Boysie Bartholdt.
The supporting events will be NT Sedans, Street stocks, Junior Sedans and Karts.
Bring the kids down, fireworks are planned for both nights and there will be a lot of action to be had.
Gates open 5.30pm and racing starts at 6.30pm and full bar and canteen facilities are available.
Admission costs $10 per adult and kids are a gold coin donation, support your local speedway and get your backside trackside.
Thanks to the NT Government and Motorsports NT, 2018 will see the Katherine Speedway granted the ability to build new facilities at the track including accessible and modern toilet blocks for both spectators and participants.
Other works include significant plumbing and electrical servicing upgrades, a new bore and water tank installation that has been being trialed to help in the preparation of the track surfaces and keep dust at bay for competitions.
