Raising money for Jeans for Genes day is one of the latest causes the team has thrown their efforts into.
The charity involvement follows a decision to be more community based while raising much needed funds for a range of organisations.
It is also a bonding opportunity for the hard working Kalano staff, Community Development Program manager Karyn Kalamaras said.
“It has been a good way to engage the community and bring other organisations together,” Ms Kalamaras said.
“Other than a great way for our team to get together it proves credibility to our clients that we walk the walk and talk the talk – we really want to help,” she said.
From rationing to raise money and awareness for refugees, to shaving and colouring for a cancer cure, the crew has so far rustled up an impressive $5000 for various charities this year.
Next up on September 21, Kalano will be wearing their team's colours with pride on Footy Colours Day to help kids with cancer continue with their education.
