Players and spectators were involved in ugly scenes during the final minutes of the Kalano Bombers and Katherine Camels match at Nitmiluk Oval.
The incident has thrown a cloud over the entire season.
The investigation, commissioned by AFLNT, has been completed and the report has been handed over but not yet made public.
A number of players have already faced the Big Rivers tribunal with more set to follow.
There are only two more rounds of the competition, kicking off again tonight, before finals are set to begin.
AFLNT has advised the Big Rivers tribunal will proceed next Tuesday for Kalano charged players with additional hearing dates to get through all matters.
The investigator’s report will be made available to the tribunal.
“AFLNT is reviewing the report and needs to liaise /communicate outcomes with relevant parties (part of Tribunal proceedings) prior to making public comment or making the findings/recommendations public,” a spokeswoman said.
AFL NT appointed independent investigators to probe the wild scenes which followed the end of match where players and spectators were involved in fighting.
Video evidence was used almost immediately for the laying of 18 charges against five players as a result of the brawl.
But the process of hearing those charges has been delayed ever since, waiting for the investigation to conclude.
