A trivia fundraiser was held at The Finch Cafe on Friday night.
Proceeds from the event were put towards CareFlight – a charity which has saved thousands of lives across the NT through rapid response critical care.
Amid the crowd, Katherine resident Matt Gane was especially grateful for the generosity shown on the charity night.
Mr Gane broke his pelvis and sustained severe head injuries after a serious helicopter crash on Kiana Station, south of Borroloola, in November 2015.
To save his life, CareFlight embarked on one of their most logistically difficult rescue missions to date.
With tricky questions and prizes for best dressed, the night was a success all round.
