Double fatality – south of Tennant Creek
Two people have died following a single vehicle rollover south of Tennant Creek this morning.
Motorists on the Stuart Highway should expect delays approximately 80km south of Tennant Creek while Major Crash investigators assess the scene.
Disruptions to traffic were expected hamper traffic this morning and drivers are urged to drive with extreme caution and obey all directions currently in place.
The Northern Territory’s road toll now stands at 36. This time last year it was 22.
