To commemorate this occasion, two public events will be held including a Katherine Town Concert at the Katherine Showgrounds tomorrow and Freedom of Entry to the City of Katherine parade on Saturday.
Tomorrow, the aircraft will conduct a handling display over the Katherine Showgrounds at approximately 6.15pm.
The handling display is part of the Katherine Town Concert which commences at 5pm.

In addition to the Air Force Band, the Katherine Town Concert will include a Military Vehicle display, Military Working Dog display, Recruiting stands and Hospitality support from local businesses.
On Saturday, the aircraft will conduct two separate flypasts at approximately 10am down the Stuart Highway and 10.15am over the Civic Centre.
The flypasts are occurring as part of the RAAF Base Tindal Freedom of Entry to the City of Katherine parade which commences at 10am from the corner of Railway Terrace and Stuart Highway.
Due to the parade, there will be road closures northbound of Bicentennial Road and southbound of Zimmin Drive.
Flypasts are subject to variables including operational availability and weather, and may be subject to cancellation at short notice.
