More than 20 businesses were broken into over consecutive weekends last month.
Police today said a 17-year-old male has been charged with property offences in relation to six of the crimes.
He was bailed to appear in Katherine Local Court.

Two 15-year-old boys were also charged with property offences in relation to five unlawful entries each.
A girl, aged 14, was charged with property offences in relation to another three unlawful entries.
Acting Superintendent Dave Hamlyn of Katherine Division said that additional persons of interest have been identified and further arrests are expected.
Investigations are continuing.
