eDash is a high quality interactive dashboard that provides educators and schools with access to student data and analytics captured at NT Government schools in one easy location.
Department of Education chief executive Vicki Baylis said the program allows teachers to easily access data on their students, enabling them to gain a sense of student progress and identify trends.
“eDash is a secure portal that assists teachers to make the best decisions for students and their families, encouraging quality learning and growth,” Ms Baylis said.
eDash will enable teachers and leaders to:
- Access data that analyses student and school progress and growth.
- Access and analyse attendance, achievement and behaviour data at a student, class, year and school level.
- Easily download and print reports to support meaningful conversations with students and parents.
“The Department of Education is committed to delivering the very best education to Territory children and this tool will assist our educators to ensure they are meeting the needs of every student,” Ms Baylis said.
“All of the information is displayed in a way that is timely, relevant and easily understood which allows teachers to capture a snapshot of where their students are and to better enable them to forward plan so that every child has the opportunity to engage, grow and achieve.”
eDash will provide users with a detailed understanding of the data available and an ability to proactively identify trends, leading to improved decision-making at the school and classroom level.
The new platform has been launched in all NT Government schools across the Territory.
