A 41-year-old man will face court after Mataranka police allegedly found him in possession of 77 deal bags containing cannabis.

Officers allegedly located the cannabis inside a bottle of hair conditioner in the vehicle in which the man was travelling on the Roper Highway on Sunday.
A quantity of alcohol was also seized from the vehicle and destroyed.
The driver advised police he was travelling to Numbulwar.
The vehicle was then defected due to its poor condition.
The man is scheduled to appear in Mataranka Court on November 14 for the charge of a possession of a Schedule 2 drug (traffickable quantity).
The estimated street value of this quantity of cannabis in an Aboriginal community is $7700.
Infringements were also issued for bringing liquor into a prescribed area and possession of liquor in a prescribed area.
