Three teams will fight it out this year for honours and to play in the grand final in March 2019.
Last Friday saw a new look Barbarians v Brahmans hit the field with both teams determined and passionate to get over the try line first.
A hard fought game with no team really dominating the ball.
It was a hot evening and fitness sure played a part.
No try was easily made and the defence from both teams was fierce.
Couple of lost opportunities from the Brahman kickers kept the game close.
Final score: Brahmans 15 d Barbarians 5. Tries – Mat Brennan, Mat Dent, David Kemp (Brahmans). Massino Scaranella (Barbarians).
