It is 100 years since the end of World War One.
The special Armistice Day commemoration will be held at the new Cenotaph at Railway Terrace from 10.40am.
The Katherine RSL Sub-Branch is asking members to form up by 10.30am at the Remembrance Day service on Sunday.
On November 11, 1918 the Armistice was signed between the Allies and Germany, bringing an end to four long and terrible years of war.
